And here are the documented events from Poky, the place where I grew up and the place my parents still live. They designed that house together. We moved in when I was 8. I think it was just before Christmas. I remembered how it smelled all new, and my parents sort of brought us in and set us down in the family room.
Ah, waxing nostalgic. They say you can never go home again. And that's probably true. But it's nice to have a place like that that's so familiar and so full of memories.
So here are some of the things we did, in no particular order:
Fourth of July: popsicles, wagon ride...later there were fireworks, blankets, the works. It was a great show.

Swimming in the swim spa:

Cupcakes on the counter with Grandma:

Finger painting!

The swings at Ross Park:

The park? The graveyard? The zoo? I don't know. But there's GRANDPA!

The zoo...yeah, she climbed up there all by herself.

Costco, of course!

LOTS and lots of raspberry picking!

Flying kites!

Playing with mama's old toys while she paints and paints and paints...

Swings!

Sidewalk chalk!

And so many more activities. The kids had such a blast. Thanks for everything, Mom and Dad. I wish we could do this every summer!
